Oh, Lola! Review

Over the past few days, nearly every fashion and beauty blog have reviewed the new Marc Jacobs perfume ‘Honey’. I do love reading reviews, but when a lot of blogs are reviewing the same product at the same time, it starts to get a little boring so I thought that I would be different and review a Marc Jacobs product that I have owned for several months but have never got round to writing a review about it…so here it is now.

Oh, Lola! Was launched in 2011, so yes, maybe I did purchase the product a bit late, but better late than never right? It is described to be ‘flirtatious and charming with a sparkling personality’ by Marc Jacobs.  The scent is very floral and sweet but not too strong which is great, as strong perfumes usually give me an awful headache.

The first thing that attracted me to the perfume was the bottle, I think that the bottle plays a main role in someone purchasing the fragrance, because admit it, you wouldn’t want to place a bottle that doesn’t look nice on your shelf.

The top notes include, Pear and Effervescent Raspberry, the mid notes include, Peony, Magnolia and Cyclamen and the base notes include, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean and Vanilla. The result of these is that they make the perfect scent for Summer!
