Designer To Watch: Helen Lawrence

Through seeing so many amazing, upcoming designers, making their debut in the fashion industry, I have decided to incorporate a new feature into to this blog; 'Designer To Watch'.

Once every two weeks, a designer(s) will be featured as a one to watch, these designers will be some of the most successful people that are breaking into the industry.

This weeks 'Designer to Watch' and the first ever, is Helen Lawrence.

Helen Lawrence graduated in 2012 from Central Saint Martin’s she has worked with Craig Green, Mark Fast and Alexander McQueen.  Lawrence was chosen to show her AW14 collection as part of the Fashion East programme.  The collection showed her innovative cutting techniques and trademark scribble motif; beautiful mohair was used in sweaters, skirts and trousers.  Inspirations behind her work include Japanese fashion designer Rei Kawakubo and French artists Pierre et Gilles.
