Here Comes The Heatwave

I don't know about you, but as I sit here, and write this post, I'm experiencing possibly the best Summer England has ever seen. The sun is shining, and there's not a cloud in the sky, of course, summer is the favourite season for many, and to experience temperatures that we would usually dream of, the first thing people think of, is heading outside, to perfect their summer tan and have a great summer.

However, we must also remember that the sun can be very dangerous and can cause terrible illnesses. The first product which should be an essential in your summer bag is a bottle of suncream, I always purchase a suncream which is 50SPF so I know that I'm protecting my skin to the highest standard possible.

I'm sure we can all unite is discussing the difficulty of wearing makeup in this heat! After ten minutes in the sun, you can guarantee that your makeup has started to melt and it's not a good look. It seems that No7 is our saviour when it comes to foundation, you can head to your nearest Boots store and purchase a No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation with SPF 15 for an amazing price of just £13.50.

Lets all thank Clinique for creating a lipstick which protects our lips from the sun and which also makes us look amazing. The Clinique High Impact Lip Colour has an SPF of 15, which means that we can count on this one product to protect our lips! There are also thirty six shades to choose from, so I'm sure you'll be able to purchase at least one!

You can continue to wear your normal mascara, but I would recommend you to purchase a waterproof mascara if you're going out in ridiculously hot weather.

Although, the main thing which we must remember is to continue to keep topping your suncream up and making sure that you're protecting your skin the best you can! The sun can be very dangerous so make sure you do all that you can to ensure that you're building up a barrier against the sun!

And finally, happy summer!
