Exfoliating Daily Wash

Over the Summer I have learnt so much about skincare. I'll admit that my knowledge of different products and how to take care of my skin wasn't too good, I've been very lucky during my teenage years as I rarely suffered from breakouts (fingers crossed I haven't cursed myself!). Due to having fairly good skin, I didn't feel the need to educate myself about how I should treat my skin and the products that I should be using, I was kind of living in a little bubble when it came to skincare.

However, over the last year, I've been wearing makeup a lot more than I usually would, there isn't a main reason for this, I've just learnt more techniques and like to apply them to everyday looks. Wearing makeup daily hasn't had a terrible impact on my skin, but during exam season, I did notice more spots appearing, I decided that they were stress spots as I was sitting my final A-level exams, so I was pretty stressed out, I thought that after exam season they would instantly disappear, but they didn't, I didn't have them for a long time, and I'm probably over-exaggerating, but for someone who would get a spot probably once every three months, I was shocked at my skin and wanted to clear it up immediately (even though I only had about three-four spots...my bad). I realise now looking back, that it wasn't as much as a big deal that I made it out to be, but I'm glad that I experienced this as now I know a lot more about skincare.

One of my favourite products is Clean & Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash, after using this product, I swear my skin has never felt so soft and never looked so fresh! I was amazed to say the least! Although the product recommends to use it daily, I only use it once a week, and if I'm having a bad skin week, then twice, this is down to my sensitive skin as I don't want to dry my skin out by exfoliating constantly. I know now that exfoliating is an essential part of a skincare routine and you would be crazy to miss this out! It does wonders for your skin!
