BEAUTY: Let's Talk About Skincare

Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Exfoliator-The Body Shop-£11.00

Today I'm talking everything skincare! I don't know about you, but I always find it SO difficult to find skincare products that actually work well for me, it's tiring, and frustrating. Believe me when I say that I've tried hundreds of products, because I have and although some worked, I still wasn't 100% satisfied. However, a few weeks ago, my skin nightmare changed.

Here's some background information on my skin, as I know that not every product works for everyone, however, if your skin is similar to mine, you may want to check these products out! I've been SO lucky to not really suffer from any type of skin problems, and very rarely get spots. Although my skin is clear 99% of the time, if I wear makeup everyday for a few days, I start to see oil building up and the odd blackhead appearing. But that's fine, because I know how to treat that. My skin is also quite soft, even when I'm not using any special products, so overall, I've been amazingly lucky with my skin, but I still love to check out different products to maintain the quality of it.

First of all, let me talk to you about The Body Shop. I had shopped here a few times, but I wasn't a regular shopper and didn't really research any of their products during my spare time, now I realise that that was what was missing from my life! For those of you who don't know much about The Body Shop, they were the first ever beauty brand to fight against animal testing, and that is something that I value so much! The brand is cruelty free and provides products that are naturally inspired.

Now onto the products!

One of my favourite all time products, whether from The Body Shop or another brand, is exfoliator. I love how my skin feels after I've exfoliated and honestly, I would find it difficult to live without it. When shopping, I had entered into conversation with some sales staff, and began to tell them my nightmare tale of how I'm always so unlucky with skin products. So they recommended the Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Exfoliator (pictured at the beginning of this post). This is priced at £11 which I think is pretty reasonable, especially as I've been more satisfied with this product in comparison to some of my other exfoliators from high end brands. Every single time I use it, my skin feels silky soft and always has a gorgeous glow, without fail, so kudos to this exfoliator!

Seaweed Cleansing Gel Wash-The Body Shop-£7.50

The second product that was recommended to me was the Seaweed Cleansing Gel Wash. This product is priced at £7.50 and I personally feel like it is really worth the money! The product claims to cleanse your skin whilst also rebalancing moisture levels, and leaves a 'shine free matte finish'. Although I can't talk to you about the rebalance of my moisture levels on my skin, I can confirm that my skin looks AMAZING after I've used this product! I think I've found my cleanser for life.
